Crowtherg it was you, in Mayland !
Geoff,I spotted you on Monday , I guess you had just visited the nursery at Mayland . I was turning into the nursery road as you were coming out (I was in a bright blue Audi , Scoob stayed at home ), I'd just fought my way round B&Q for the second time this weekend ! Next time you're around the nursery pop down for a chat as I live down that road . Oh and did I spot the RB5's up for sale ?

Dave,
Yes that was me, always wondred where you lived in Mayland. Shall pop down next time, funnily enough, saw another scoob whilst I was down there, you may have seen it to its the multi coloured pearlesent one.
Yep the RB5 is for sale. Few things coming along that require an estate car. Arrival of an 8 week old Golden Retriver being one, and fartherhood looming in November being the other. Really want to stick with Impreza, and have a wagon, but wonder if a Legacy may be a better bet, the 3.0 Quad cam jobby perhaps.
Take care
Geoff.

'Golden Retriver' ? prepare to have your furniture chewed , Our lab's 4 now so he's grown up a bit now hence the other car I was in Monday is an estate . I would have thought you should be able to get everything into an Impreza wagon (baby stuff included ), and with a little PPP magic lots of fun too .

Dave,
I agree whole heartedly with you regards the wagon. The wife however is not so sure.
I will keep working on her!!!!!
Thankfully the dog does not appear to have discovered the deilights of chewing furniture as yet, although I am sure it will not take him long!!!!

shootguns eh, think i'll avoid him then! lol!
gonna speak to ray, i know he did it for paul but dont want him to do it for me as he feels he has to, i know he enjoys tinkering in the garage though!
Looks good as it is but with no splitter, black skirts, low'(ish) spoiler looks a bit dated compared to newer models. not sure about the engine, gonna take it somewhere like extreme scoobies to give an overal check, i know its been de-cated (well legal!) , daaaaaam wide straight through exaust, blitz dump valve, nothing too extreme. dam quick, but already want more power
no ABS or traction control is fun with 280bhp to
gonna make sure she's running reliably before i start tweaking, plus i want to be able to see whats going on, ie boost gauge, a/f gauge, knocklink.
this is all if i dont lose my licence fist!
not that i drive beyond the sped limit of course

Yeah get a set of Defi gauges
Also get re-map to run on uk fuel if it has'nt already been done or just use octane booster
Then take me for a spin and i will pass my judgement
Also can your change the fronts easily so they look like the later classics ?

yah, i need to get in contact with power engineering, to see if the remaps been done. dealer reckons it has and the power engineering paper work says use SUL, no mention of booster, but wanna be sure!
them gauges are nice, want a pillar mount but would prob go for just 2 pods.
how cheap/easy is the facelift then, prob could afford a STi 5 after all these mods!
