That be me .
Bit imbarrassing but kind of fun. I think I was a bit out of my league that day, It was the first time I did a trackday.
What are the best trackdays for beginners, also are there ones where you haven't got pro racing cars flying by you .
Cheers
Andy

Well at least you got stuck in!
I did one of the SIDC trackdays a few years ago in the Scooby and it was all very friendly and respectful; the benefit of a club/one make trackday. However I have not been an SIDC member for a couple of years now and don't know if they still run this kind of thing anymore.
Failing that you should aim to go into a trackday that is split into sessions which will usually cater better for single makes and track experience. The one we were at on Monday was an "open pitlane" day which is why you found yourself in among GT3s, Caterhams and that mad white truck thing that span behind me coming out of Clearways!!
Still, you've done the first one now so it should be easier going forward.
Neil.
