Scoobynson.. OK..

The secret is to type your username and what you want to see and the program recognises the wording. You must use the ' at the 'beginning' and 'end'. I will put the wording that we all use in brackets (otherwise you will see the picture and not the wording!! LOL)

eg..

To get a smilie (Scoobynson wants a smilie)
The one with the tongue sticking out (scoobynson wants a rasberry)
The one with the glasses looking cool (scoobynson wants cool)

A bit of practice in getting the words right means that you can get some good pictures, there are a few rude ones such as..

(scoobynson wants the finger) smilie giving the finger... Sounds a bit suspect, but it works..

Quite easy really

If it doesn't work, leave the wording on the post and I'll let you know where you've gone wrong..

Cheers mate!

From Wakey myself and i haven't really seen too many Subarus knocking about... there is a Sonic Blue Type R i see going down Denby Dale road sometimes (very nice it is too) but that's about it.

I'm in a white MY97 Type RA myself so i'll be sure to give you chaps wave if ever we pass!

Without the brackets mate, and in the ' single quote marks.

This would be 'Scoobynson wants spam'

This one.. 'scoobynson wants lovin'

scoobynson 'is a little confused'

Scoobynson's 'dream machine'

try these mate, write them out and I'll let you know what went wrong if they don't work.. cheers...

Alan C ..." may have seen you outside a building on an insudtrial estate heading towards Halfords from the Holmfield arms roundabout?"

Is this the road that starts with a T?
and was it a dbm saloon you spotted?

Yes mate... The same road and same car.

I've seen it several times (and posetd a WIY once or twice), but in my old age, I remembered it as green when BURR was asking.

I actually passed it yesterday going to Halfords, and it was indeed a DBM.

WIY?

Halfrauds is right!

I needed a cable to convert the headunit loom for a Sony MD changer. £29.99 for two plugs with some bits of wire in between ... The headunit cost less.. and I didn't buy it.. trying the guys on the ICE forum to see if they can help.

I also needed a 3 way extension cable for my cigarette lighter.

DVD / Road angel and my lads PS1.. Fuels consumption is down to 3 MPG now.. but everyones happy!! This was £7.99, much better!

Al

It would probaby be just as easy to re-wire from scratch as the standard wiring in these cars are'nt the best!!!

I did this in my old MR2 Turbo after not being happy with the adaptor. It sounded much better.

At the end of the day as long as you've got constant power, ignition operated power and a good earth the only thing you need to do after that is wire the speakers in (with better quality wire!!!!!). Simple!!!

Then when you get carried away you can add component speakers fromnt and rear, numerous amplifiers, sub woofers, multichangers and TV screen in the headrests!!!!

Speak to you later mate!!!

J4CK50N

PS stop winding Scoobynson up - my sides are still hurting!!!

Martin.. I'm a simple lad with simple tastes (except in cars that is) and spending 30 secs putting in a stereo is about all I want to spend on it.. so unless YOU enjoy doing that stuff SO MUCH.. I have an S reg classic that would benefit from decent ICE and wiring, speakers etc etc!!

As for Scoobynson... I love it.. it's always nice to kid a kidder.. I may leave him a little while yet.. maybe tell him at the meet on the 18th... Is funny though!! (Unless of course he reads this first (Hi Scoobynson!) and figures somethings wrong!

Burr.... Not me mate... too much football to watch...!

Still don't know where you are by the way...

Al

I would normarily be happy to rewire the car and install loads of new ice, but at this time of year it is just too cold, damp, miserable for me to be crawling around and getting annoyed!!!

BuRR

No can do on the curry front - too much on, but thanks for the invite!

Cheers
