Cool

Run down to Cheltenham yesterday and saw Cheltenham at lunchtime

Classic turbo with "lateral Performance" stickers and big big exhaust, being followed by an RB5 WR driven by a lady
White Classic with very high spoiler

About 1ish (nearly missed the egg chasing) i think it was a UK300 heading west/north bound on the M40 between Wycombe and Stokenchurch

All i could remember

Cheers

Jim

That would have been the other half (RB5) and I (the one with the exhaust) on our way to Powerstation to get our respective geometries adjusted...and then having a corking drive back home via Cirencester and the A435

Big thanks to Dirk and Rich, my car now goes round corners and let's me know how it's getting on in them

Tim W - so you were the miserable sod who I waved to as I was coming out of Powerstation ...... having had my geometry done first thing!

Zilch - think I saw you go straight on across the lights into Cheltenham when these two turned right and past me!

Mark, i was in my UK300, and yep, went straight on, sorry I did not notice you.. traffic was a bit of a mare and i was concentrating on trying to get through it.

Tim, RB5 looked a peach..guess is was a WR from the Reg.. lovely example you have there

Cheers

Jim

Cool

Were you driving a scoob?

Honestly neither of us spotted another scoob other than a UK 300 at the lights while we were waiting to turn right up towards PS.

Then again, I don't drive the scoob everyday anymore so maybe I'm a tad rusty

Zilch,

The RB5 is mine and I love it to bits. Having said that, yours looked rather good in the sunshine. UK300s are such lovely colour.

I'm sorry I missed you Mark. I'd been kinda focused on trying to keep up with Tim I neeeeed more power...

Oh, and you're right about it being a WR. The car was wearing a legal 'plate that day, which is less obvious, so well spotted

Note to self: must put the pretty 'plate back on

It would have looked better if it was clean .. especially in the sun.. Did any of you seen the white classic, looked like it had
"lifts" on the spoiler to raise it to about 3/4's of the way up the rear screen it was driving out and i saw it just after you and Tim by the lights

Cheers

Talking

It's supposed to be dirty, it's the rally car heritage

I'm too busy driving it to clean it. My car's famed for being filthy

Problem is I'm the one who gets to clean it

Anyway the car is way cleaner than her mind
(Tim ducks and runs for cover)

Remarkably I'm still breathing...

And no, missed the white car with the lifts, sounds really nice

Em says I cleaned her car once and moaned about it for hours...(once being an entire Sunday of washing and waxing)

Jim, if you're happy with the quality of the valet, could you mail the details of the guy in question, please?

Hi guys!

I was in my Black 03 WRX and turning left back towards the A40 where Turbokitty and Tim W were waiting to turn right where I had come from. No probs - nice cars anyway guys!

Zilch - your car looked nice in the sunshine - catches the mica in the paint!
Agreed re: the run!

Had a fab and very fast run over to Aylesbury to see the parents - in fact car is amazing now that it is running some negative camber (-1.5 degrees all round). Was running zero neg and some toe out(!!) direct from the factory .....
One or two squeaks from the girlfriend too
