Saw the legendary CK 1 at the RS national day . Seems ok in the speed department but the way everyone goes on about it thought it would be REALLY quick.
There were a few cossies it overtook but was also getting its a**e kicked by a few more.
Does anyone know its BHP judging by its performance about 250 ish ?
Nice car though and good to see a Scooby putting on a good show.
I do really think Cossie Killer is slightly exaggerated, its not as if its a 550 bhp monster thing now is it ?
When Stef reads this flame suit prepared !!

Well at least with his lowly 250 ish Bhp he was man enough to put his money where his mouth was and join in your RS day and still managed to overtake a couple of 400+ bhp Cossies, so someone wasted 160 bhp
I am not rubbishing any of the above just that Bhp doesn't make a car nor or a driver At the end of the day if you own a bike, cossy, evo or scoob, if you choose the type of route you should win a bit like "stone, paper, sissors etc."
We all have a good friendly banter and hopefully respect each others choices of fun
My scooby is slow 218bhp and got overtaken by a ASTRA, so what!! but I've enjoyed ever minute of it lighten up Fun's Fun

Haven't got the video cause I guess you need to be a member of the SIDC before you can get it......Like everything else. Can't do track days, etc until your a member.
Shame really cause at the RSoC meet they welcome everyone, no matter what you drive and no matter what club your in.
Just my opinion, Phill C

Jase - try sitting next to him round the Nurburgring Nordshleife.....then u will have a little more of an understanding of CK1's speed....speed round a track comes from braking as much as anything else and u would notice this as ur hanging in the belts as Stef brakes 10 metres later than me whilst doing 20mph faster..... buy the vid from scoobyshop and enjoy...

Does Stef pay you lot or what ??
Your all missing the poimt.....
If Stef is such a fantastic driver, and his "CK1" is the dogs danglers then why was he not even getting close to some of the cossies ?? The RS2000 MK11 with the cossie engine was belting around with CK 1 nowhere near his ring LOL. We are all good drivers and from what I hear all stef manages to do is smash his up when he goes out on the track. Well congratulations Stef think you went home in one piece on Sunday ( a first maybe ??). I am a Subaru driver and I think you lot are missing the point !!!!
Why is this CK 1 so special. If he has the nerve to spout " the cossie killer " then I think he should have the car to back it up thats all. When I had my 400bhp Escort Cos I never went around saying " the subaru slayer "
Regards Jason.....

Sideways,
You took the words right out of my mouth!!! All this lot are on the pay roll.
I do drive a bloody Subaru as well, why else would I be on the BBS ????? Well some people are so "up themselves" on here you wouldn't believe it. Pathetic!!!!
Cheers Phill C

Must admit I tend to agree. Stef is certainly a good driver, at least a hundred times better than me, but "cossiekiller".
Not sure I agree with this deity status. Would be fine if he didnt crash so much, but so what, at least he enjoys it.
was a touch confused by the video though. The caption read, another cossie killed, this referring to the ability to stay behind a car for a lap. Dont really understand that.
If that is the casem you should see the number of cars I ahve killed on the motorways. Thousands literally.
I am guessing the RS2000 you refer to is Dingy's (steve) that is one car I would love to see round the track, btu from the erports I heard, the man to watch subaru wise on that day was craig hardman.
Regardless of this, the fact remains that stef is very entertaining to watch, I just hope he stays safe.
What is funny is if you watch the video you will see there are two corners where he throws it much more sideways on purpose, this being nothing to do with the fact that they are both the spectators corners!

Neil Smalley,
I can't be assed to buy the video and put more money into the moderators pockets.
Me and sideways do drive Scoobies, sideways sold his M3 to buy one......
I would love to see sideways go up against you lot on a track cause he ain't scared...... Can't do it cause we aren't SIDC members.
As I said before at RSoC meets anyone can go on the track....They make you feel very welcome.
I'm quite pissed off with the elitism on the BBS. A Scooby is only a car, hello!!!
Cheers Phill C

That's 'cos us RS people are a luverly bunch
Have seen Stef's video and he certainly seems to be pushing that car to the limit, but lately he seems to have quietened down
At the end of the day, it's all down to the driver in the majority of cases, and how well you can drive and in some cases, what you are prepared to risk to prove a point,
Cheers, Nick
