S'alright...I've found the explanation in that other thread of yours.

It was only a matter of time, matey.

Get a proper front plate made up and keep it in the boot. If/when Plod pulls you again, just say "Oh cripes! Sorry officer, I've just come from a track-day and forgotten to put my proper number plate back on...I can do it now."

Just a bit of advice given to me by a cont-stubble in the family.
