I've seen a few around (in and out of Power Engineering?) and i've posted here but had no replies. I'd be interested in meeting up with anyone interested, as I've now decided to keep my 94 WRX.

Hi Guys...

I'm in the Uxbridge area...

about 2 mins from PE...

I was going to sell my 93WRX but decided to keep it...its booked into PE on the 3/9/01 for its 7500 service plus exhaust and air filter...i did ask about the mapping as well but the guy in the workshop said he dont know if they still do it...if they do then i am going to get that done as well...

I'm going into PE Saturday as well to get a price on a Magnex back box after my service picked up a blow in mine.

Ricky... 7500 for a 93? Please tell me you've missed off a 8 or 9 from the front?
If not, i'm assumming one careful lady owner, garaged and used for shopping to Tesco's only?

Yeah i mean its up for a 7500 mile service........not that its done 7500 miles....its done 64000 miles....which aint bad for a 93 in my book

I am up for PE this saturday...what time u guys going to meet there....cos i think they want to start early around 0800....

Al-have you had any mods to your WRX as yet..??

69K... I agree thats pretty good for a 93. My 94 has about 90K (50k) miles and I was happy with that.
As for PE, I'll be there mid morning about 10.30 ish to check out the Magnex BB. But I can change this easily to meet up with any of you.

As for mods, no, I haven't had anything done. I was going to sell it after I arrived back from Cyprus. It's a tax free vehicle and I had to own it here for 12 months before selling it on without having to pay tax. Anything less than 12 months and i'd have to pay the 27 1/2 % (VAT & Jap tax).
But 12 months on I can't bear to part with it. So I'm going to sort out all the little problems and get it sorted. As for performance mods, I don't think I'll start that yet. As i'm (my wife actually!!)is expecting another kid, and that will require some expensive upgrading itself!! But enough to keep it running and looking ok will be my priority. It's quite quick enough at the moment.
What about yours? Any mods etc?

I reckon i will be at PE around 1100am as well..
I bought my WRX back in Nov 99 from Magnum Motors in Farnborough...had a go in my brothers and was hooked....sold my Cossie and used the cash to buy the Scoob...had to wait for it to be registered which seemed a lifetime at the time...its had no major mods at all...i just cant wait till the 3/9 when it goes into PE i got a Grp N exhaust to go on it...and with their Blitz filter it should sound awesome...
