This is a great site! I've just bought a Subaru Justy (reg JUS7Y!), it's not quite an Imprezza but at least it's not made in Japan. Anyway, I'd like to jazz it up and wondered if anyone could recommend any spares suppliers. This is my first car and I don't know the lingo for this sort of thing. It's quite quick already (0-60 of around 13 seconds) well, faster than my Dad's VW deisel anway.
Is Scooby a nick-name for Subaroos or just Imprezas? I've never heard it before! If it's just Imprezzas, then does the Justy have a nick name? If not, what about Jubly!

Geoff - I've had great fun razzing about in Justy's. That's a great number plate!

I guess scoobs is a general Subaru nick-name, but is usually used for Imprezas. Dunno much about tuning the Justy, apart from I'm sure it's based on the Suzuki Swift...You might want to look for parts for that. (Air-filter, exhaust, etc).

do Impreza drivers acknowledge Justy drivers on the road i.e. bit of a wave? I waved at an Y reg WRX in Chelmsford yesterday and got a bewildered look back.

Should I come up with a nickname for myself.
