bugger, rumbled!!

I only had the livery aplied this morning!!

I was down at Prosport in Stockport, where the guy who does Pete's rally car graphics came and worked on my car.

I have had it specially done for Ten Of the Best this Sunday to pay a tribute to Mark Lovell, Roger Freeman and Possum Bourne, who we sadly lost recently.

I will be competing and have been organising the Subaru entry.

The livery is unusual, in that it is the works colours for the National Prodrive teams as used by Possum and Subaru Rally Team USA, it differs from the SWRT, i thought that was more apropriate. I think it looks really smart.

I changed the bonnet livery to the earlier style pre FMIC as the current one wouldnt cover enough area of the bonnet ahead of the scoop.

I was going to keep it quiet until TOTB, but scoobynet has done that idea in. So you may as well take a look.

I was outside work, having a smoke break, when the unmistakable sound of a flat four with a big bore exhaust rumbles into earshot.
Imagine my surprise when this fully stickered wrx comes cruising past me.
Gorgeous John, not quite my cup of tea (the stickers that is), but still a stunning car.
What were you doing there, (green lane in stockport)do you live local?

I feel humbled john, what an excellent gesture.
I didn't get to read the epitaphe on the number board today, as you came by too quick, but that is really touching.
I am glad I was able to see it in the flesh as I wont be going on sunday, I am sure it will cause a few wet eyes in york.

On another note, if you do live local, then can you make next thursday for a meet at the snake inn pass pub?
