Hi Puff,

That was me. Apologies for the rather silly late pulling in move - I wasn't expecting the road to narrow down so rapidly...

No idea what speed I was doing - but didn't think it was that fast... I just happened to spot your scoob in the distance in front of me and thought I'd catch you up to say hi...

Anyway - I'll try not to ignore you next time

Cor - Result

I'll leave it to you to work out the closing speed, but on M'ways I cruise at indicated 82 Don't worry 'bout the o/take - it was safe & if you saw a flash from me that was a "hello"

Got to say that in situations like ours it's hard to either pull alongside & give it large waves or to totally ignore the other. Need a FAQ on that I think

The reason for ignoring me BTW was in the passenger seat I think Yours? If not, maybe she might come to a scooby meet sometime

Hi guys

hope you don't mind me butting in on your thread but I get all excited too when I see a scoob especially if they wave and flash me although I have to say it dosn't happen often enough I followed a P1 on the M25 yesterday (having gone to great lengths to catch him up!) and he just ignored me

Sal

Clsoing speed must have been a bit *too* quick then I don't think I'll ever quite get used to the power delivery....yummy...

I know what you mean about pulling along side and waving - especially tricky on a motorway - which is one of the reasons why I didn't

Not sure if Emma (babe in passenger seat) will want to come along to a scoob meet - she's not what you'd call a massive fan. She's also an IT phobe - and was looking at me funny while I was explaining excitedly who you were :

"Hey, that guy behind us is Puff The Magic Wagon off Scoobynet!"

"Really. That's nice dear. Is that his real name?"

"Erm. No. I've no idea what his real name is"

"And you're getting excited about exchanging head light flashes with someone you've never been introduced to?"

"Erm. Yes."

Some people just don't get it do they ?

I got much the same reaction when I was recounting the story this AM at the same spot

Don't think she actually knows what a P1 is either

Must have been the first time in a while I was doing this route and I didn't use the M25... I normally use it to cross the river, but for some reason this time I decided the Blackwall Tunnel was a better idea...

Rest assured - if I get a wave from anyone in a scoob - I will wave back
