P1 - in LGW Subaru Tuesday

Yup. Glad I got a high speed run in it last meet Mines into LGW Subaru next week to sort out a rough idle, low rev stutter, high rev stutter, not pulling smootly at low revs etc etc etc
Subaru have changed an oxygen sensor already (not made much difference) but my bet is now on the MAF, Coil packs or the set of sparks plugs used at the last service (March) Still ... it's all under warranty so I'm not complaining.
Mike ... hope the P1 gets well soon and hope it's a warranty job too.

Tis my baby!
Was booked in for service on Tues, picked it up at 4pm and by 4:30 i was back at the dealer with a very horrible knocking sound!
Went back to see them yesterday and they have provisionally ordered new con rods and crank shaft!
Am going back to see them this afternoon as need to discuss one or two things with them ( few additions to the baby! ) and to see if it is a problem that the guys at Subaru UK want to take a look at. Will also have an idea as to how long it will be, and yes it is a warranty job, ( PHEW )
Am currently driving around in a mitsu carisma ( no charisma more like it!! ) with Courtesy car emblazoned down the side of it, nice.
At least i am running at close to 40mpg again, forgot what that feels like LOL!!

Funny that you should mention oil, the first thing that they did after i drove it slowly back was to check to see that they put oil in it!!!
It is all going ahead as a warranty job and i should know by the weekend what caused the problem as they are stripping the engine out tomorrow!
Just cant get my head round the fact that this is my second scoob and they have both suffered the same problems!!
Whilst i was in there i ordered some side protection strips, STi kickplates and STi style mudflaps! More expense to explain to the missus!!!
Hope everything goes ok with your car
