We pulled up right beside you at the Bucks Barn traffic lights
after we left the Bolney meet.

You > in an Orangey Metallic(?) MY99 Wagon
Us > in a Pearlescent Blue MY99 Wagon

You gave it a good blat down the A24 - full on!

Nice one fellas

Looked at the speedo at one stage and thought I should back off a little.

Yep, PPP. No other mods, for now. Just trying to decide whether or not to extend my warranty. You?

We had a lump replaced & uprated clutch, other than that mainly breathing gear; de-cat & induction - no other engine mods.

Yeah it does! will put off a Stage 4 until were really bored !

It does go to show though that when you are gunning it against another scoob you dont realise how quick you're going !

Have you ever got yours onto a rolling road to see what you're putting down through to the floor ?

At the moment I'm trying to keep this engine from enduring excessive wear by not swapping out the turbo for a bigger one etc...

Showing great restraint !

No RR yet, 'cos I don't think it'll be much of a surprise. Prob somewhere around 240-245.

Restraint...lol. I think the whole Scoob ownership thing is one big exercise in restraint - whether you're driving or thinking about mods. First 'mod' I'll do will prob be getting the geometry sorted to reduce understeer. I reckon that's what I dislike most about the car.

Rich.

Hey thats good considering its a warranty friendly UK Turbo!
Yeah I'd have to agree with you on the understeer thing, thats the 4WD for you, you do get that tramline effect, the price you pay for superior grip in the wet on mulch I guess...
I do prefer a MR setup though for pure fun but not much can really touch the Scoob on B roads P2P.
