Jaguar XJ220........in Carlisle !
#1
I think I saw one of these yesterday at dusk on the Brampton Old Road. I think I recognised it because of the books the kids get me for Fathers day (this year it was a pink badge, thanks kids).
Did I imagine it? It Was HUGE beyond belief....almost took up ALL of the road, I had to brake and pull in. How on earth do you drive one of these things apart from a dual carriageway ??
I have never seen a "Supercar" in real life, are they really this big / wide?
Did anyone else see this in the Carlisle area, perhaps a local Jag dealer has a promo on??

Last time I saw 1 of these was at Crail a couple of years back when the owner thought he was the man Put it on the strip and smashed the gearbox & clutch 200 meters up the strip (poor gunt)
There were a few wet pants after all the larfing that followed I can tell you Even more so when it left on a recovery truck.
The moral of the story, jus coz it sezon paper its a supercar doesn`t mean it is
Pete (now trying to find the pix of it)
