We were in the sailing club, tutting about these boy racers with their ridiculously loud exhausts ... then I started mine up in the boatyard

 

Yep that was me,
Some gezza tried to lock me in the carpark right next to your club.So I had to show him the error of his ways.

Thankfully not my club, though - father's the ex-commodore and I was jus' visiting.

More stupid rules than you can shake a stick at ... no smoking until the vice-president's toasted the queen, and all kinds of other daft things

Good job you didn't get locked in, as the launching ramp gets flooded at high tide and we'd have ended up with a new "Scooby in a lake" moment

We have a caravan on Thurstation,bit of a retreate from the ratrace I love it,but the members social club is an eye opener bingo,linedancing,and as you say "all face the picture of the Queen"before battle commences.....

They are up to no good at the moment,coz they think my car is too loud for the site......but they treat me like royalty,whats all that about!

I didnt think they would let your TYPE over on the wirral Yoza never mind a retreat in Thurstaton.

So where's the invite for a weekend in your love shack, i will only bring 2 kids and the wife and i can drive the nads off my car through the site and really cause you some problems.
