lucky_strike ? Black Bug Eye - Clayton le Moors
Yep, it was me. Always cautious down there since the speed limit reduced (and there was the Merc police car with its laser in the front window, putting me off!).
Just drying it off after its usual weekend wash - black is good for a couple of hours after cleaning but thats it then, ready for another wash.
Nice to get a nod/wave - I've noticed a few Scooby owners round here are not too keen.

Did you notice the look on the coppers face as 2 scoobs drove past at 29 MPH - I wish I had a camera
Nice looking motor you have there
but 20 miles to dry it
What a great excuse to tell the wife
Just a quick question ! Where did you get your mudflaps ?

Yeah, I think I was smiling as I went passed them... hard not to 'cos you know they know you're going slowly deliberately.
Mudflaps were sourced from Megabusa on here - he put a run together from what I can gather of replica's (rather than the £175 per pair from the dealer). But I think he's stopped doing them know - search for his name and or mudflaps and you should find a few threads relating to them.
Looks like your tidy motor was pretty clean as well - not another person taking one for a spin to dry it off!

Nope its always that clean
Only joking - I don't work Friday afternoons so thats become my car cleaning slot along with all the other jobs the other half wants doing (including cleaning her car
).
I think I've asked megabusa about flaps before but I'm sure he had no plans to make any for the classic - but you live in hope
and I'll keep my eyes peeled.

If I'm in Accy its usually to pick the kids up from the dragons lair (mother in laws) or using the loading bay outside Barclays to use the cash machine :
