It was about the third time that evening I overheard a group of "yoofs" say how nice the car was as I drove by.....and I hadn't taken the bait at all... (unlike me ).

However on coming to a T- junction where I was turning right, another group of said "yoofs" shouted "go on then, give it some"
Hmmm car infront of me....
that car pulls off, so I wait just a fraction of a second longer, so he's out the way, no other cars about.

handfull of right hand lock and a good stab on the thottle and we're out of the junction sideways
all looks well....
till I see the car that had pulled out in front of me, now indicates right, to turn into his driveway....:eek
on the brakes and the car slews to a rather ungracefull stop, sideways, behind him...(he's still not turned in his driveway, although nothing was coming!!!) think I frightened him
perhaps he thought I was going to overtake..

must of looked a right Wayne Kerr

LOL I usually get this from kids on my bike (Go on mister, show us a wheelie). Never take the bait though, It never works out right when i'm in front of a crowd. That said I was trying out a new set of sparking kneesliders on the M5 roundabout last year and these lads (who'd broken down under the flyover were giving me the Mexican Wave as I went past them. First thing they said when I stopped to ask them if they were actually sparking was 'how much was the bike' and I gotta get one of those'.
