Looks like the local Police have invested in a nice new camera van.

Unmarked white van with to flip up windows in rear doors followed by around 20 police just down the road today between M5 J13 and Stonehouse, fair enough at accident blackspots but i have travelled this road for the last 8 years and NEVER seen a serious accident.

Apparently it's also been used on the A38 south of Gloucester.

Plus my radar detector didn't pick up a thing!!

eek. I always belt down the roads between Chelt and Gloucester cos there never seems to be police anywhere. Where I live you see a police car every few mins .

If you carry on down south the police are using a simular setup on the A350 around Chippenham. White van spotted with weird mounted gun. I thought this was the new way of checking for car tax dodgers.
