Yes it was me - I'd been waiting 3 and a half hours for the RAC to send a flat bed!!!

Its going to Tileys on Friday - I was racing a Ford Focus down by Dick Lovett - hit the limiter in 1st and 2nd, then it just lost all power and turned really lumpy. I thought it was water or something so carried on - by the time I got to the end of the M5 slip road, it wouldn't even make 40mph with my foot flat to the floor in 2nd!!!

RAC bloke said it's running on 2 cylinders, but it isn't water as I've dried it out today and it's still the same - I'm thinking it might be ECU related as I've had a few strange glitches over the past couple of weeks.

Just hope it doesn't cost too much as I'm skint!!!

steve - turbos car had 5 year warrenty on it!! and it finished last month i think, its always been dealer serviced and he bought it from tileys - and its been dodgy since they last serviced it

I am very p1ssed off now - RAC were supposed to turn up at 8am this morning to take the car to Tileys. They still aren't here and it's 9:20 - aparently they will be another hour

I was thinking of taking my dad's Scoob to Longleat, but that has decided to start leaking loads of oil from the diff (!) and anyway it is likely I now have to work on Saturday to make up the time lost - so sadly I won't be there...

Cheers
