I was just testing her You know what lassies are like:
"So, what car does your man drive?"
"Er....a green one"
I tend to see 3-4 scoobs a day on average so there aren't as silly popular in edinburgh as perhaps in other places. When did you leave edinburgh to head down south? What school(s) did you go to? I went to Oxgangs primary and then onwards and downwards to Firrhill

I moved down south beginning of June to be with me fella, I like it down here, its a change of scenery I went to Hunters Tryst, then onto Boroughmuir. OooOoOOOoooOOooOOooOOooooOOOOOooh, FIRRHILL. So how come you live in buckstone then, surely by going to firrhill you failed your exams then signed onto the dole as soon as you left school? Paying for a house in buckstone whilst on the dole, god, the government is a shambles

Mines is a Dark Blue (navy IMO) MY99 halfway up buckstone road. There is a sonic blue MY01/2 that kicks around buckstone too. What do you drive yourself?

I don't drive a scooby yet, I'm only 19 so the insurance will be sky high My fella does tho, Green MY96 UK Impreza Turbo. Nice wee beastie so it is! I haven't seen many scoobs in Edinburgh, compared to down here in Sheffield. How long you been driving a scoob?

Was in the mains till I was in 2nd year - hence firrhill and not the muir. After school I went to University where I got a Town & Country Planning honers degree and I now work as a planning officer for East Lothian Council.....not to bad for a firrhilly
I'm back with my parents at the moment in buckstone!! There is no way I could run a scooby and a mortgage on my wages

Oooooohh...just noticed this thread - I went to Firrhill too for a while.
WillieF - I'm sure I know who you are but not sure - I was there 82-85 (then decamped to Watsons but that's another story!). I should also point out that I 100% doubt you would know who the hell I was!
I remember going to a Electronics Club after school with MasterBates and (perhaps?) Mr Bland sometimes....something in my head makes me think you were involved in this club (but I was younger). Top of C-block was where the club was held...
Are you in Euan Robertsons year??? I've not seen him for over a decade, but just something makes me think I know something about ECS....
Strangely, we have a small software company located in our building called ECS, but it is not you......
Strangely, the owner of the ECS I know drives a P1, a R33 Skyline, and a older Scooby (lucky bugger to have all 3).
Even stranger, he drives from the Borders to Queensferry every day, so going back to the thread topic, he could even drive through Oxgangs every day!!!
How's that for off-topic rambling yet getting back to the point - Ronnie Corbett eat your heart out....
