I'm after a 2001 Y reg wrx turbo ej20 2 litre engine for my bug eye wagon , got £500 Ish for one but struggling to find one - I'm a newbie to Subaru so any help /advice would be amazing
My bottom ends gone after an oil pump issue :-(

you can use a classic or newage bottom end on your car mate, should make your search a little easier, how bad is the damage if the cranks intact you can just re shell your existing one?

i would drop a sti8 long motor in there mate,a well trusted breaker on here is having a sale at the min so perfect time to upgrade

it will drop straight in and the engines are good for 450bhp

think he has one up for £1k

by the time you have paid to have a wrx bottom end fitted with new head gaskets etc you will be over £1k anyway

I've gone on a scooby experts advice and it's not even been moved since it happened due to being scared of moving it haha - I've got langworth motors down the road but that's 200 quid to say it's ruined ? Can I post engine YouTube vids on here - it's as soon as I hit 2k revs it sounds like it's got marbles bouncing around in the bottom end ! I've been told new engine , would rebuild be any cheaper ? Thanks for your help boys , appreciate it ;-)
