i have one i thinks m8 do you know what it should say on the in side i think it sasy 3.7 been told thats a 3.9? anygood to you. am @ DN2 DONCASTER

 

Hi Slab, what did the diff come off. You need to open the diff put a mark with a white marker on the crown wheel, add up the teeth and divide with the number of teeth on the pinion. I am no expert, if you ask the question on the technical section, i am sure someone will explain it better than me. lol

 

Open the diff up and look on the crown wheel the ratio is stamped into it, its not immediately obvious as its on the side of the wheel that faces out towards the cover. you will need to wipe it with a rag first to get it clean or you wont see it.

 

am sure it said 3.7 i will have another look tomorrow

 

Nope it will be stamped something like 39:10 obviously you divide the two to get the ratio cant remember exactly the number of teeth for each ratio.
