Hi, as the title says I'm looking for a MY99+ turbo saloon with aircon.
I sold my car this morning, and it will be going early next week, so I have the cash waiting and need to move ASAP.
As for budget, it is ideally around £13K, and the most I can go to is £15K.
Any sensible mods (exhaust, ppp, quickshift, etc) and extended warranty would be great.
I live near Cambridge and will travel a reasonable distance for the right car.

Cheers

Jonathan

It's sod's law.....when I couldn't sell mine there were loads about! I found a couple of really nice ones but the trade-in offers for mine were insulting to say the least. Now I have the cash, come on people someone must want to sell me their pride and joy!

Cheers for the advice John. I've seen several posts that rate the MY99 over the MY00.

Any more out there? My car is probably going on Tuesday, and I have the cash waiting.

There must be some more MY99 scoobys out there...

Have S reg 99 my, 31500mls, DBM, a/c, completely standard, however test drove ppp RB5 then let salesman go in mine & we both thaught mine was a quicker car, few dents from careless shoppers. I may be moving to central London soon so was contemplating getting rid, do not think is fair on car, moped will suit better. Car is in Reading at mo & will be going back north Thurs. Mobile no. is 07770358728 & should be switched on approx 8 ish tonight if you want to know a bit about it.
ps, I am far from desperate to sell but guess if someone waved some readies at me I could be tempted.

Doesn't take long to drop off the page...

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to let my car go without having a replacement lined up.

Question

I have a MY00 DBM 4 Door Turbo with aircon, quickshift, Blaupunkt 10xCD, body coloured side-skirts. Had a new set of Goodyear F1's a couple of months ago and it's currently gleaming after it's 22,500 mile service yesterday. Being forced into a Company Car scheme (this month) is going to reluctantly force me to sell it. Thinking of advertising at £14.5K to start with but talk to me if it sounds interesting!!

Try not to get a MY00 with the standard ECU - they are not as fast as the MY99. With a PPP they are just the same as a MY99 PPP. With MY99 you get slightly different wheels, no colour coding of mirrors and doorhandles, and the dash is not silvered. Note the big service points when buying so that you know if it is about to need a major one.
