uk 99/00 ecu
in need of a 99/00 uk ecu
must be in fully working order
mine appears to have got wet and now playing up

Not a UK but have a MY99 JDM Sti 555 WRC V limited ECU been EcuteK mapped by Bob Rawle to 347BHP on a TD05 16G £150 plus £10 post.

you'll need to get your keys recoded (approx 30 from subaru) unless ya go for a J2 Jdm type R ecu out of a 99/00 but then you'll have to get your afr's and det checked as they run higher boost,differant turbo etc than the UK's

seems a bit of confusion here i had to change ecu once before and got charged for coding
this was by a reputable company
i could do with knowing what i am in for when changing this can anyone state for definate that there is no coding

You can swap a UK my99 without key coding , i'm 100% positive as I've done this a few times on my rb5

As mentioned, on a 99/00 ECU you DON'T need to have the keys recoded. The key coding is in a separate box and not linked with the ECU. I've also changed mine once or twice.
If you have been charged for key coding on a 99/00 for an ECU swap, then you have most certainly been ripped off.

Hello guys I have a j2 ecu and willing to fit it onto my forester s turbo ej205 with sti mods. Is it compatible? Will my car fire up?
