IHI VF24 Turbo????
Hi guys, im in need of an ihi vf24 turbo for an version 4 sti. I sold my car on Sunday and the new owner got the car home (about 50miles) and the turbo decided to let go.
I must say that the turbo has been whining for an while but i put this down to it been an roller bearing type. Anyway i feel kinda guilty for the new owner so i told him i'll try and find him an replacement. Does anybody know of anyone or company that will see me one cheaply please
Ive checked Ebay, on here and 24/7 parts but no luck also flat4online are selling their's for £1k which is on the dear side for an £3k car.
Cheers
Paul.

Hi,
I have a VF29 turbo (from STI VI) that is now suprlus to requirements if you are still looking?
VF29 is nearly identical to the VF24, with the same compressor and exhaust housings. However the compressor wheel in the VF29 is has been changed slightly. The changes made to the compressor wheel in this model are generally viewed as improvements, and as such this unit is typically chosen over the VF24.
Cheers,
Chris
