wanted 40/05 blobeye in exchange for a very very big box of snap on tools
hi scoobynet members since losing my 05 sti due to a stupid **** up. i am crawling the walls trying to raise some money for another. now i dont know if this has been done before, looking through pistonheads i can get a very nice blobeye sti for around the £8000 mark. so what have i got that is worth that.
i realised that after working 31 years in the motor trade ending up working on airport service equipment/ fire trucks/ fuel bowsers /loaders and just about everything i can think off. i own a very very big 4 box set of mainly 90% snap on tools that are insured against breakage/damage etc for life. the set. comprises of the main box on wheels, with a further top box and 2 suspended side boxes these all bolt together and then the main box bolts to the wall. anyone with snap on tools will know each box locks with its own key and are very secure. when its stops raining i will post some pics of the tool boxes. this is a very very complete tool box, which enabled me to work all over europe without begging something of anybody. i thought it might be really good for someone, who is wanting to do a project. but has not got the tools and has maybe a classic and a blobeye he is trying to sell.
this is a very serious offer so no time wasters please
ps took early retirement 5 years ago so tools are just standing idle
not bothered on car colour i had a black one before so a change might be nice.
any way fingers crossed and if this is is the wrong section can someone pm me. i also have some parts for sale as well these could maybe included.

no interest in my first offer. i know times are hard. but three years ago when the lad i used to work with had his tools stolen. the insurance paid out £24000 his set was almost identical to mine. we started buying when we were both 21 so there is a very good set of snap on tools these tools carry a lifetime warrenty from snap on go to any van with a damaged tool and they will replace it.
i am now going to extend this offer to any scooby. got to be an STI but i will settle for a classic upwards or wagon. it will have to have been owned by someone that has cared for it in the manner that a car of this kind deserves.
so the offers there.
1 very big snap on tool box that would cost something in the region of thirty grand to buy brand new.
straight swop for a scooby that has to be in really good condition so if your lucky to have a newage and a classic in the garage and fancy a tool kit that you friend will be jealous off
