I'm looking for the centre diff and transfer casing only as I want to mate it to my existing gearbox. The box I have now is TY752VBCAA in an MY98 WRX, so it needs to fit this.

I would also like the centre console switch if anyone has one.

Anyone have anything?

I have been offered a complete box for £600 and the diff/casing only for £400 ish with warranty.

I will consider a broken box as long as the diff is ok.

Complete box & diff for £600 sounds like a bargain to me Wayne,you could easily get £400 back just for the box imho.

Couple of handy part numbers for you,

Gasket for top plate on DCCD: 33176AA000

Gasket where DCCD bolt onto gearbox: 32145AA030

I know £600 is ok, but £450 would be better. If I could get a box for that I would have it.

PS fitted some headers tonight to a mates UK turbo and forgot completey about the space saver. I could have tried it on his car, doh! If you want to try it on yours then you can have it and pay me if it fits.

 

I paid £540 for my P1 box,rear diff & drive shafts & another £200 for my DCCD so £600 is pretty good mate!,especially when you consider that I was quoted £1300 for a V6 Type R gearbox with DCCD,rear diff & drive shafts from a local(ish) breaker
Don't worry about the space saver,I will measure mine over the weekend,if it is less than 5.5" then yours will fit,if its the same then yours is no good to me,I'll let you when I have measured it

could split it if you need part with switches as front might be of interest to someone upgrading a std wrx to one with gear surround.
