i recently broke my fwd 1.6 impreza, so after replacing it with a beemer i set about converting it for play use. i have a 3.5 rover v8 and i'l be collecting a gearbox to suit soon.

my intention is to use a rear axle, suspension setup from a 4x4 and a 2wd gearbox mated to the v8. for rwd fun.

i'm going to have the money to buy all the bits early april so i thought i'd join here and see if i could put some money into any of your pockets.

on the wanted list is

(1) rear axle, with driveshafts, hubs, disc brakes, and suspension (although i was looking into coilovers so i can even the height out and ajust damping ect ect.)

(2) rear part of the propshaft

and if anyone else happens too be a rover fan too, i'm looking for a LT77 box with the RV8 bellhousing and front part of the prop

hi,,, my cousin has asubaru impreza estate 1.6gl - L-reg ,silver looks nice,,,no tax or test ,,, but it has a lever inside to make it 2 or 4 wheel drive ,,,

sparky a whole car would be good but i'm needing all the better performing bits from a turbo model

a turbo is puting out a wee bit over 200 hourse through all 4 wheels. and to start with my v8 will prob put out slightly under 200bhp but only through the one diff. so i need it to be a good one i'm afraid.

will have the cash to spend next month so i'l check back with k18llr then or re-post if he's sold his bits

you can tell your cousin i have a good spare engine here if he / his buyer wants it. i was planning on using it in a dirt bugy some time in the future. but i'd rather get on with the main project so the engine can sell if the right moneys offered. also all the loom and ecu - everything it needs to run infact

hi my cousin says he has the rear running gear of his 1994 wrx turbo import saloon ,,diff ,axle ect,,, what is it you need in total

let me know ,,

 

rear subframe, diff, propshaft, driveshafts, hubs, brakes, struts (although i'm thinking about a set of coilovers so might not need the struts)

anything else you know of from the rear?

as said, i'l have the cash next month. pm me a price for what you got.

he has everything u need ,,the complete rear end running gear ,,, £250 ,, but the strut legs are extra,,,

Got a full rear end.......sub frame/diff/shafts and hubs off an 02 sti £300........calipers and struts are extra.

 

Got a MY95 Turbo Prop shaft - £100
