Hi all, Thanks to the builders dropping a scaffolding pole on my 98 typer i need a facelift classic alloy bonnet and i would also like a front bumper from a 99 on car. does anyone know if it is safe to repair a alloy bonnet

 

you can repair alloy bonnet but you have to be thorough in preping
panel beat as near as poss to metal fininsh and use bodyfiller sparingly
and make sure it is suitable for alloy go to a paint factors to get the right thing!

Sorry to hear that but the scaffolders should be insured. I would let your insurance company know and put in a claim agaist them. That way you will end up with a nice new bonnet and bumper - whichis what you should have as it was their fault!!
