Default MAF sensors 99/00

Any of your old Maf sensors required as pissed off with blowing these , now doing research into what blows them, underdstand its not the MAFs themselves that are causing the problem, but another underlying problem.

Have a circuit board electrician on the case and need a few to work on to find out if these can be repaired or a preventable soloution in stopping them blowing.

Asking for the goodwill of Scoobynet to send them to me by the cheapest postage possibly rather than bin them.

Just send me a PM for my address if you are willing to send one

Thanks all

Big Daz

What air filter do you have?

I've just replaced mine so you can have the old one. PM me where to post and I'll send it ASAP.

The MY99-00 are that sensitive I'd make sure you stick with the airbox and a dry filter.

I've read of filter oil (excessive) and vibration (unsecured CAIs etc.) quoted as reasons for failure.
