think the head gasket may have gone in the right bank in mine, the bloke at the garage commented that mine was super quiet on the bottom end, if it is gone I will get him to do a report on it and guarentee, and maybe we can come to an arrangement?

I have an engine I just tore down because of low compression in the #3. Come to find out it was a small blowby on the #3 piston, the cylinder was not damaged. Just needs #3 piston and rings which you can replace through the sump without splitting the block. The other three pistons checked good on a compression check prior to teardown. I already sourced and installed another engine my friend supplied and am looking to get rid of the one I have. Let me know if you're interested. I'm looking for 100 quid for top (heads in fine shape) and bottom end, exhaust, AC compressor, P/S pump, alternator, intake, and what ever else I have laying around for it. It's in pieces but can be loosly assembled quite quickly as we're getting good at these. Lee
