I will be removing the towing kit from my 1998 Impreza in the next couple of weeks. It is a Subaru part with removable swan neck but I'm not sure what the Bosal thing is about. Do you know if it's the same part? I'm told the Forester is the same floorpan as the Impreza so I don't see why not.

Have the same too, Witter Towbar with removable hitch (4 bolts, just leaves to plates that can be seen 'end-on' under the rear valance). Had this fitted to a 98 Turbo saloon & a 93 non-turbo hatch - both Imprezas.
The removable hitch takes a normal 2 bolt ball so you can bolt on cycle rack/anti-sway bar etc if required. The hitch itself is small enough to fit into the spare wheel when removed. The main bracket uses 4 bolts either-side replacing your twing eyes & exhaust bracket (the bar has it's own exhaust bracket on it).
I'm looking for £50.00 plus postage unless you can collect - Cornwall.
