i need an engine for my scoob.would love an STI, but it need to see it running before i buy it.

i also need a wiring loom, intercooler ecu etc.
would i need to change the fuel pump and clutch?
can anyone help?

i have a '01 classic

 

You need the ecu, clutch, gearbox rear diff and maybe the driveshafts too.

i thought cos my classic was an '01 it wouldnt need all that

 

Sport doesn't have an lsd and I doubt the gearbox could handle the power. I may well be wrong though so don't quote me on it

 

is there anyone on here you know who would know?

just buy one a lot easier and prob cheaper depending what u want.

 

i love my yello scoob and want it to have a turbo...no going back now

 

exhaust and headers as well

 

think there was someone breaking a p1 on here at one point with all engine gearbox diffs the lot, have hunt and you might find it

 

i have decided to leave the engine on hold for the time being and get the squillions of other fookin bits done first

but i am still needing an engine
