Lightbulb Import wagon smoked plastic door visor/wind deflector

Anybody know where i can get one, or preferably a pair of these?

It's the dark plastic strip that runs up the front pillar and over the doors - not sure if it's a wind deflector or what, but hopefully you know what i mean. A UK dealer told me this was an import accessory, but i thought ALL import wagons had them, no?

I need the nearside one, but would prefer a pair to ensure colour match. Grade A don't have any, so any other suggestions as to who might have them?

cheers

Tel,

I've got one of these hanging around, but I'll have to check to see what sort of condition it's in and what side it is. From memory, it's a semi-translucent purple colour.

Although I've got the pair, the other one (whichever side it is) is broken following a somewhat unsympathetic removal technique by yours truly.

Sorry to jump in on your thread TelBoy but I'm also looking for one of these as mine's cracked, fear not though as I need the oposite one to you being the offside !
If you find a pair maybe you'd like to split the cost ?

Cheers....Jon.

It is the nearside one, Tel.

Unfortunately, there's a small area of damage where part of the plastic is missing (as it was when I bought the car) towards the front of the deflector. Other than that its condition would appear to be fine, albeit rather dirty.

I can a grab of photo of the damage if you'd like to see how bad it is?

Tel,

Theses are probably a hell of a lot more than you want to spend, but http://www.revolution.eu.com/ do them.

Go to Subaru section, classic styling, accessories, Sti accessories, and they're listed there.

Haven't forgotten you, Tel. Just haven't seen much daylight over the last few days.

As I've now got competition, I'll raise dj219957's double sided foam tape offer by throwing in a king size Mars bar and a packet of Fruit Pastilles with my deflector.

Seriously, though, I wouldn't want any money for mine.

LOL, spoilt for choice

Jimmy, let me see what dj67585689485's involves, given that it's undamaged, as i'm a bit worried about this double sided foam talk - the original doesn't use it, there are four clips in the over-door moulding to attach them, so i might be back

Johnny, thank you for that.

Irritatingly, although they show *exactly* what i want there, on a five door, the whole thing, the bloke reckons he's NEVER sold any for a 5 door application, even though i thought it was only the wagons that had them as OE

So, he's gone off to check if any of the three kits he has listed will fit.

And at £175, i want to be sure!!

Thanks for the lead though

Not a problem.

As a (relevant) aside, my wind deflectors were attached both by the metal clips and double sided foam tape.

Ah, i see.

Are they difficult to remove? Or are they the sort of bit that's easy to get off if you don't need to keep it, and a piece of cake to put back?
