I've got a few motors in mind at the moment but on my shortlist is a Scooby wagon, classic 90's shape. Really I want something newer than around 1995, under 100k on the clock, either a UK turbo or an import (best if it's been converted to mph etc.). Not really bothered too much about whether the imports are more powerful or not, my current motor is very fast but I now need something 'slower', more reliable, more discreet and with better fuel economy - so a uk model Scooby with full history and no mods would be best. Not that I mind mods, as long as they're sensible, so no noisy exhausts, crazy lowering, bodged-in boost gauges or bleed valves. But stuff like big brakes, a decent aftermarket clutch, front-mounted intercooler or panel filter, proper tyres (no Centaur or Nangkang LOL) etc are worthwhile to me.
