I'm looking for a 1997 -> 5-door in either reddish-blue or silver, preferably with after-market alloys, sports exhaust & suspension in the 11-12k region.

Anyone know of any good examples for sale in the south-east area?

Thanks for the tip Lou. I am seeing a 98 (R) next weekend with 53,000 miles for £11,750 so they are out there. I also test drove a 97 (R) 63,000 miles for the same money on Saturday though I have to say I was a little disappointed by the performance, the caveat being that the (garage) salesman was in the car at the time & I didn't feel I could really thrash it; do these cars take off fairly high up the rev range or was the example I drove a bit sick I wonder?

Dealer offered £11,000 for my MY98 32,000 miles with ScoobySport Backbox, brembos, gold alloys, 6 CD player, upgraded speakers........shame, its red!!!
