Why not do as many do, and colour your own?
Remove badge by gently prising away.
Remove paint from back by wet and dry, or better, Wickes paintbrush cleaner and a bit of rubbing.
Repaint in ANY colour you want, with almost any paint, for a perfect finish,( you can even use nail varnish, and get a glitter effect!) 'cos you're painting the BACK of a perfect surface!

Refit with double sided stickies for numberplates.
