Looking for AP's 4 pot (5200) caliper w/ their two piece 304X28mm rotor.
Having a hard time finding a kit that will clear 16X7 wheels, this one will.

Thanks

Mike

Mike,

Yes it will clear a 16" wheel, but only just! You will need the later style sti alloys too from a classic shape.
They are mighty fine brakes too

I've heard all kinds of good things about them. Hoping someone might be moving to a bigger kit and wanting to part w/ their 304 kit.

If you can only find a set of 330's, let me know, as I might do you a PX deal.

I also have a set of cheap 16's from a 4potted 98WRX I could include. (If my mate wants the money). Theyve been sat in my Shed for a year, so he should.

Is that the 330 kit you have pictured? I've got a lot of $ tied up in 16" wheels so the 304 kit is the one I need.

Thanks

Nope its the 16in wheel one as the car had 16's when I bought it.

I have a receipt dated 2001 for £1400.00 for the AP kit.

It now has 17's and I can fit the bigger disks under them.

As I said, if you find a 16in (304mm) kit, well done, but if all you can find is the 17in (330mm) kits SH, I dont mind doing a deal for the extra 26mm

Just as long as its a 'reasonable' deal, as they cost about the same new and Its only a cosmetic thing to me, the brakes are fine and have never faded.

I sold that whole car 18months ago!

Did you buy bigger rims in the end?

Nope- I've got four sets of 16" rims Currently running the FHI 4/2 pots, but still looking for the AP kit- figured my best bet is here on scoobynet.

For some reason they don't carry that kit here stateside, they carry the bigger 330mm kit- I guess they don't think there is the demand which may be true.

I can't find any either.
Must have been very few sold in the early days.

You may have to buy new!

I'd buy new but the dollar is so poor against the pound that it would really "hurt"
