hello im after a lambda sensor for my 93 wrx import, any one have one or know where i can get one, been quoted 300 plus for original jap part

 

A three wire for a UK car will work (red / white / black) but you will have to cut and join the wires and they are titanium so they will not solder. Crimp connectors and heat-shrink insulation works. I think Lucas do one that will work. I have been told the part number is SEB230 but I have never bought / used one myself so best to confirm first cost is £25.

 

the garrage ordered a uk one today they went to put it in and it had 18mm thread and short wires like you say, they said if the thread was the same they could have re-wired it. the jap one apparently has 12mm thread, does anyone know if this is correct?

My MY94 Wagon WRX import has the lambda in the off side header, and has 22 mm spanner size.

Some scoobies may have a 12 mm thread size, but don't know which!
