Cool

Probably should have posted here sorry, looking for a pair of Suzuki GSX-R1000 motors to kit into my race car and update it from the current pair of 1997 Fireblade motors.

Anyone know of sensibly priced breakers etc. who sell reliable and good priced kit like this?

Thanks,
Richard.

I will check at work tomorrow, we have used several breakers for busa engines before, they have offered us the 1000cc engines recently.
What car is it going into?

Thanks Andy - would be going into a Autograss single seater, currently running twin Fireblades but starting to loose ground to a couple of newer machines built around either later R1's, Busa's or GSX-R's.

Cheers,
Richard.

They use the GSXR1000 engines in the World Championship F1 sidecars. Have a look at http://www.steveabbottracing.com. I will ask Steve and Jon the engine man if they know of any engines available. How much do you want to spend ? Do you want them standard or modded ?

Would be looking at standard to begin with and then mod at a later date - not sure price wise, seen a couple advertised on ebay and motorcycle news for between £1500 and £2500 (I presume aga/milage being the main differences).

Thanks again.
Richard.

Have got the feelers out, something should come up (Steve Abbott is on the case !!!) so if it does i will post here and mail you.

Dave

P.S. As above, do you mean 1500 - 2500 per engine of for two ?

Hi, I rang someone local to me who brakes new bikes..

For a brand new K3 GSX-R 1000 engine, he wants £2300, that includes everything you need to run it.
