I had the baby versions (Comet 300 Gas Discharges) and the times we were up in Cumbria it can't be said how great they were

They are pricey, but then they are the same spec as used in rallies. All depends how much light you want Compared to RRP they are a cheap steal, but still more than you might buy a lesser powered set for
Plus points are that the bulbs aren't proper bulbs and last absolutely ages (massive manufacturers guarantee on life), and that they only draw 35 watts once powered up so safe to use on existing fog loom.
