Hi,
Has anyone got a Skydigital box hiding in a cupboard as one of mine has stopped dialing and sky want another 33 quid for that box per month.
Anyone converted to Telewest TV and have a box hiding in the loft.

Cheers,

Dave.

Hi mate, what do you mean won't dial? and 33 quid a month for the box? Not being cheeky but you don't need the box to dial to watch the channels. If the box is in warranty then a service call will replace the box, if it's out of warranty then a new box is in order if you want to take advantage of the interactive services box office etc...if not then it should still work for channels etc. The 33 quid a month confuses me though, what's that for?
Having had a few experiences with SKY, I'm just curious!!!!

Off topic but how come Sky can just stick their monthly charges up whenever they feel like it without letting you know. Doesn't this contravene the banks direct debit guarantee?

Sorry been away for weekend.

We have 3 extra boxes all running the same programs as our main box.
To get this you pay an additional £15 per box but they have to dial up every so often so sky know there in the same house.
Because one is not dialing they wont to charge me full rate for that box.
Bloody Sky have the monopoly now when you cant get Telewest.

Oi Lan Man,

Can do you a 19" TFT for a great price of £440 + Vat.

Not bad when it should be £470 + Vat (trade)

Dave.

Why don't you swap the faulty box with your main box as you don't have to have your main box connected to phone line????
Just call Sky and ask for the boxes to be re-paired to the matching cards....
