hi all....im after a high powerered scoob, either blob sti or hatch sti...must be minimum 450bhp+...im quite picky so must be mint all round...money waiting,cheers.

greetings mate...my budget is open if the right car came available but like i said it must be mint...im not a trader it will be my personal car...probably max budget is 22ish.

 

You will get a nice car, just make sure it's correctly modded with all the right bits on at them power levels including the 2.5

 

bustamoves thats the problem,finding one thats been done properly from start to end...il give you an example...someone had a forged 2.1 blob from finch motorsport (perfect) 2000 miles ran in they then fitted a turbo and bolt ons an they went along and drove it without mapping etc,,air filter,turbo etc without mapping...i understand its got to be done in stages but does that mean the 2.1 build is compromised?? probably not but i dont mind paying 20 grand plus for a build done properly not a forged build then bolted on bits afterwards without a remap which im finding

If I had that budget I'd get the saloon that is up for sale on here by jampot. I see it last week up at scoobyclinic and it's mint

 

For that budget you should get a well done one, just needs to be from someone respectable, agree putting them bolts ons definitely need a map same time as adding.
I'd consider hawk spec c's etc also or in them territory's, not sure if a Jdm hatch is in your top end budget either

 

Or buy a respectable car and do the mods yourself then at least you know it's all spot on

 

that white 2012 saloon is great,ive read the build spec etc and its a right beauty but what puts me off is its still on the standard 2.5...now its running 370bhp and it will probably last for miles but if im forking out 22grand for it i dont want to even have the thought of dodgy headgaskets..get me?

 

how often does well sorted,mint,forged 500 bhp build come across on here...another option which ive been persuing more is buying a standard blob sti for around 8-9 grand and sending it down to engine tuner for a 2.1 stroker with a rotated gt30 which tbh is my preferred option... atleast i know then the engine is fresh..plus the blob sti cost and forged,rotated gt30 will come to around 22g but i know the engine is good...any 8-9 grand blobs msg me...if i came to sell in a years time i no that an 500bhp engine tuner built car will hold good value

 

It depends how desperate you are for one? Good things come to those who wait and are picky, but I haven't seen them pop up on a daily basis.
As said buy a 'respectable ' one and mod yourself

 

I some times get tempted to sell mine and put the money back into the wrc project but its a very hard one to price and even harder to decide lol

 

ive just got myself a run around for time being...ive been looking for a decent scoob for months prob since feb so il start looking again when i can be arsed..patience has gone lol

Ill have my fully forged 2004 blob sti up for sale soon, its in the bodyshop at the minute being prepped for a full respray, its already got a forged 2.0 built by api and various other mods, currently running 350 350, if its of any interest to you.

 

Build your own, it's the only way to know things have been done right
