Default Newage rcm 76mm induction trumpet needed urgently

Hi guys I urgently need to borrow a rcm maffed induction trumpet @ 76mm at the tube end,

Basicly I bought a 80mm version and sold the 76mm one and have fitted a host of other parts and now she isn't running right I'm just trying to figure out what the issue is and am thinking either the new trumpet is letting in to much air or I have a air leak but cannot rule the induction kit out till I can test a 76mm version on it

I can pay postage both ways and send some beer tokens and would only need the trumpet for 1 day if that and would send back on a next day...

It's either this or I'm going to have to buy new for a cupple hours of use

If anyone can help i would be over the moon

CSF

I've changed the turbo, intake pipe, catch can set up & induction kit..... I'm not driving it at present I need to upgrade the injectors and then Map her but she should be idling fine...

I had the 80mm filter fitted it ran like a pig and just wanted to stall so put on original air box to see if that made a Difference.... Basicly with the air box is starts and runs idles and revs freely when applied a squeeze on the throttle but that only lasts for about 30 seconds.... I thought she was fixed at first but then as said starts to want to cut out and run very badly so time to switch the ingnition off ..

The 76mm induction kit is what the car is mapped to so wanted to give that a whirl if it doesn't work then I will start looking else where

The only other thing I'm thinking is there is a air leak some where.... The funny thing is it runs fine for the first 30 or so seconds then get grumpy...

You've changed induction kit? There would be your problem with idle if running maf as its changed. Needs tweek.
Tbh with the few parts you've changed etc, I'd expect idle/drive to but a bit funny until map

I'm confident that is the issue to hence why I put up this thread as was mapped
With a 76mm trumpet the filter is still the same size, but I want to be 110 % sure which I why I need to check

Yes but you've taken the breathers off inlet I'm guessing to catch can? Wouldn't that cause wrong flow to intake at idle?

There just breathers, shouldn't as far as I no make any difference to idle..

The new intake pipe only has one take off for recirc and rest to catch can...... The sub should be idling the only thing I think it can be is the bigger trumpet or a leak of some sort but I want trumpet to make sure that's the issue,

I fitted a catch can to my previous R but no issues there even with another turbo the car should be idling fine

All sorted & trumpet no longer needed !!

Turned out to be a ecu error that only affect early Jdms
With avcs Simple easy fix though so all sorted
