Search help bargain bugeye
Morning gents, I've been thinking long and hard about buying another impreza, this if I go for it will be my 5th scoob. After considering sti ra's projects and wrx classics and uk classics but I've always got a but what if and the costs involved as I wouldn't use an ra as daily drive and I can't afford to keep in the garage paying tax insurance mot and servicing for a run around just for shows and weekends.
So I'm looking for a subra impreza wagon must be turbo and manual not bothered if wrx sti or uk, not bothers about condition as I don't mind some work but not project like engine gearbox or major issues but little cosmetics brakes or just swap parts would be fine. And some of us are doing a euro trip in sept so a wagon would be spot on for that for cost reliability and practicality. So budget basically as little as possible, 2k max as I have had to get rid of the wife's car due to head gasket problem. If any of you know or see anything advertised please send it to me. I'm happy to travel to see it but it must be drivable to get it home and preferably not as for as Scotland it's just to far to get a car, I have seen a blob eye wagon in Scotland for £1999 but just to far to travel. Local would be nice but has to be wagon manual turbo send me what you got boys. The challenge if you wish to except is find the best bargain around under 1k would be amazing and there's a drink in for the winner my email is wdmaintenance@btinternet.com good luck daz

Daz, this has got your name all over it its not a wagon but it is so subtly modified it will slip under any police radar in the UK and Europe

The bug will be alot slower and won't hold it's value like the RA will but it will be better built and a nicer place to sit/drive.
The fact you mentioned pup and the wife driving it, I think you already know the answer
