What's going on there then?

I'd love to do that with my WRX wagon (auto) and then land a blue saloon shell back down over the wheels / drivetrain and engine.

I'm having a refurb done getting it all back up to standard, rust cure, stone chip protection and white paint. I've got a thread in projects which has disappeared but I'm going to update it with a load of pictures shortly. I did see you saying on a thread that you fancy re-shelling a classic into a new age I think?

Yeah either a late classic saloon, or a blob-eye, if it's do-able.

Perhaps not, but a planned major expense is always better budgeted for rather than being unplanned but that's another story for another time.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this car when it's ready, it's going to be a cracker.

It's an investment I keep telling myself

I know right where I am with the budget.... this time I had a spreadsheet on the go right from the beginning so it was all planned out before I started its the only way to operate

Thanks Ty.... I hope to be at PCAD with it but I've got a lot of ground to cover to get there initially.

And I'll give you "wing man" .

I'll need a bunk bed ladder if that's the case TT lol

Thanks Lee... I'll do my best mate not to let everyone's expectations down

On a positive note I think I may have found a sandblasting firm local to me that just may fit my needs
