Hi fellas I have bought my very 1st turbo car ( it happened to be a 98 wrx sti 4 ) and it looks lovely , its done 82k and full service up to 65 but the last owner told me the same old same old that he has done it him self etc
Now I don't normally to judge a book by its cover but this guy looked a little rough around the edges I wouldn't have bought the car if it hadn't looked so clean but you never can tell how she has been treated
So I was wondering if their is anyone close who can take a look ever my car and just generally give me some tips on maintenance I.e checking the turbo etc so I am not driving a ticking time bomb

I live just outside Cardiff in Llanharan (between Cardiff and Bridgend ) If anybody wants to meet up or pop over for a cuppa

It may be worth popping in to 3 arches for them to take a look, as they're in cardiff. Get some pics up when you get a chance.

They're a great bunch of guys, Ex Subaru mechanics and know their stuff! I'll only take my Type R there

As said the guys down at 3 arches have had nothing but good reviews and are local to you, I'm sure it wouldn't cost the earth for them to cast their eyes over it, and for your own piece of mind

 

Welcome aboard.... There are a couple of good places to go locally and as the guys have said 3 Arches is on your doorstep there, always good to give a new purchase a health check including brakes ect

 

Rhys, as the others have said 3 arches is the place to go, what Dean and Dan don`t know about Subaru`s is not worth knowing. They have just completed an engine re-build on our car.

The help and advise that we got and the job that was done is hard to beat.
