Default 570 miles done and no problems!!!

Went to Hertford on the weekend for a wedding, and all together did 577 miles.
The old car did me bloody proud, was doing 200 miles to half a tank at one point, but with traffic and some playing used 85 litres so works out at nearly 31mpg. Not bad for the old girl, as I was stuck in stop start traffic for an hour, had town driving, and spirited b-road/motorway driving.

I recon on a clear run at 60 off boost I`d get 400 to a tank or very near to that, I`m just glad I`m used to sitting at 56 in a lorry or that would have bee painful lol.

The ONLY problems I had were, the bolster on the drivers seat finally gave up so I had to use a hoddy to stop the metal frame digging into my leg, and a bloody stone chip on my new windscreen on the passenger side, looked like a boulder coming at me (but atleast it missed my paint)!!

Only two pics that I took not of the wedding.

Paint is fine, the screen took the chip, which was brand new lol.

The tank was brimmed twice, once to get there, and once to leave. And I`m stil driving around on the same tank.

i hate the fact we have to sit at 60 and be the slowest bloody thing on the road to get good mpg !

i am just running mine back in from being laid up and the ECU must be getting used to my driving style etc as the battery was off for 4 mths etc, ive just done a steady stinit of 70 miles and only getting 18 mpg ouch !

hoping it gets back to what it was doing before the layup !

glad yours is running well still

If you have a passensger seat base you no longer want as I want to strip one down and swap the foam over. I do also have a heater pad from a Vectra that I may try to make heated seats

Everything in the boot, full tank, bag full of clothes, suit carrier and a Tuba

Apart from that was near enough flat, my suspension is good (has to be).

Only need a passenger seat base, and I'm pretty sure I can get one for next to nothing, as funds are tight.
