What power can standard internals take on a 2 litre classic impreza turbo 2000? Want to try and get near the 400bhp mark and I'm aware I will need z new gearbox (I'm on the limit as it is lol) but will my internals be ok or will I need to change anything else? Thanks in advance.

 

Yes, most of them.

 

Just be a ticking time bomb waiting to go off, some will last longer than others but standard engine will give in the end at that power and then you will have the cost of a nice engine build to add to your list

You might be lucky depending on engine miles etc..but seen many give and at lower power than you want to take it too

A well set up car running 300- to 350 is just as quick it's all in the way you set your car up really
