What type of Impreza are you after - classic or something a little newer and what kind of budget do you have?

It wouldn't be a bad idea for you to pop along to a meet (one tonight in Cardiff) to have a chat to some owners so that you can find out first hand about the joys of owning an Impreza (ie likely pitfalls, running costs etc).

Gemma (and Dave) are coming so you definetly won't be lonely as the only lady.

As Ty said it's a big bad world out there and you need to know your onions. Plenty of advice both good and troll like will come your way but bear this in mind, they are not cheap to run, there are some horrors lurking about, love fuel like Oliver Reed liked a drink and can cost you large sums on insurance.

But we will help as much as we can .

hello, welcome to the site, what scooby do you have in mind, and what sort of budget are you looking at,and also have you a quote for insurance on a scooby yet??

i know of a car, cant remember if its an 02 or 04,but can find out,it only has 24,000 miles on the clock, hardly ever gets used, and is constantly garaged,in excellent condition.

Well it's a choice between Ryan and myself, and Ryan drives an MX5 - draw your own conclusions with that one.

I hope not or you're in desperate need of an upper lip waxing session.

You could probably get a very nice Blobeye or even a Hawkeye STi for that, I would try as a comparison a WRX and an STi and see what you prefer.

A WRX is what can be classed as a more comfortable car than an STi, whereas the STi can be classed as a more focused as a standard car it comes with better suspension, engines, interior, brakes, 6 speed gearbox etc etc.

Just make sure you try out both flavours as it's been known for WRX owners to end up changing their cars for an STi due to the cost of having to upgrade their cars to similar level of specification to the STi model.

£4.5k for an 02 bugeye WRX? It won't be going anywhere at that price! Even with the low mileage, he needs to knock a grand off.

Welcome into the site, and the nut house in South Wales.

If your into polyester Trousers Ty is you man
Ryan is a Hair dresser with his MX5
Jarvis is OCD with car cleaning, and you won`t see him in it if it rains
Ceri loves stickers, and racing poor Fiestas in Swansea
Dylan is your man for fixing and rebuilding.
Calvin has no gearbox, and an Audi TT (No comment lol.)
And me I like causing trouble and breaking things, and starting threads which turn into 30+ pages and nothing ever gets done lol.

Think that about covers it, oh hang on

Ians car is lovely but something about fuel lines ?? (My mind gets lost at times)

Where are you based in gods country??
