What you lot reckon on this one, I am viewing it tomorrow. I have some extra pictures of the seats as the bolster is shot on the drivers side but I know a man who could help
.
If you have driven one, you know that they are a very good sports car. Stupid comment is not requested.
If you have not , then I suggest you leave "the hairdresser/girls car" replies outside.

Not a fan of the wheels Ian, I think I'd put the standard wheels back on.
Looks a good buy, and you wouldn't have a problem in getting your money back later on if you got bored.
When are you and Ryan setting up your boutique then Maldwyn? Sorry couldn't resist.

Totally agree on the wheels. All the blurb and my previous experience says keep these standard for the best results. I can always flog the wheels and put the money back into the car.
Or I could see if they fit the Ninja's car.

The blue one looks quite cheap, nice to have a hardtop for the winter as well, the "mojo" LOL steering wheel looks a bit boy racer other than that looks tidy...
The green one looks like it hasnt been messed with at all, the green and tan with the wood steering wheel wont be to everyones taste, but its only a runabout soo...

the first one looks nice, quite like it actually the best looking of the 3. having the hard top is def something that might draw me to the other as we all know some pleb with a stanley knife can ruin a soft top easily. 3rd 1 looks an origional example that hasnt been messed with. take your pick..

For a bag of sand you can't go wrong and you will see your money back in 12 months time. I never hear anything bad about them and they seem easy to work on with cheap parts too.
Knowing you, after the 12 months it will probably be in concourse condition too so you could even see a return on your money. A good one will always be worth a grand.
Also the roof comes off so it doesn't matter how camp you look, its still good fun!!

OK the black car with the gash alloys:
1. Boot lock fubar'd. You have to use a screwdriver
.
2. Black car with red paint inside where the boot lock should be
.
3. No boot carpet or spare wheel and loads of rust around the battery.
4. The only way to describe the drivers side bolster was "burst"
.
5. I pointed out the blistering and rusty sills, "Oh, how did that get there?" says seller
.
6. Drain holes blocked.
7. Paint job by Abu Hamza!
Phoned about the Blue one with the Hard top. Fessed up to some shoddy welding and "perhaps a little rust breaking through on the front wing".
Dropped in on one in Cefn Forest. Good roof, bit of laquer peel. Minor sill rust, started on the button, UK model though, so no goodies. BUT spare wheel full with water. "Oh, how did that get there?"
Went to have a look at a Del Sol, walked away, as there was so much condensation inside the car it was raining and moss was growing along the window channels. And that was at a dealer
.
There are some dogs out there.
I may just go normal banger instead

So, went and paid the deposit for the car ready for pick up tomorrow.
Went back to the Ninja and drove home in the Scoob via Pencoed, Llanharan and then home but it went very wrong in Llanharan. They have started building more hoses and the road is crap with potholes and broken surface on the new roundabouts, steered left then right to drive through and caught a hole with some right hand down applied and yep you guessed it

it went flat and will not inflate and only got them off Merv yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
